OPEN DISCUSSION: We will be having an open discussion in the Fellowship Hall after lunch EVERY THIRD SABBATH about friendship evangelism. Everyone is invited.
Vegetarian Cooking Workshop-Sunday, September 22 from 1-3 pm. This is an open invitation for all cooks who want to learn to cook vegetarian. Anyone who already cooks vegetarian is welcome to bring a dish with the recipe here at the church.
FIREWOOD: Winter will soon be here and it will be getting cold. If you can use some wood to keep you warm this winter, please talk to the Pastor or David Graves. They will be happy to get some to you.
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES: We are taking orders for the purple T-shirts that some wore to church. We truly are Daughters of the King and we want our community to know Jesus. They can be ordered from Sandi Stockman. All sizes through X-Large are $16.50, and 2X or larger are $18.00
PROJECT SHIELD: Project Shield is hoping to raise enough money ($288.00) to purchase a case of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash to be sent to the Philippines in conjunction with “Oceans of Love.” Please mark your tithe envelopes “Project Shield.” Thank you.
ROUND TABLE BIBLE TALK: Did you know that Pastor Fish has a weekly Bible talk on the radio? You can catch it every Friday at 10:30 am on WKRK (105.5).
SNEAKERS FOR MACS: Please remember to bring your old sneakers (no matter their condition) and place them in the box by the greeter. This is a fundraiser for MACS.
Bathroom Renovation: We will be renovating one side of the men’s upstairs bathroom into a handicap/family bathroom. It is estimated this will cost $20,000. We will be taking donations for this project and when we have received $15,000, work will commence. Please mark your tithe envelopes “Building Fund.”
